China fought for North Korea assisted by the Soviet Union. The causes of the Korean war was the division of Korea at the end of World War II and the global tensions of the Cold War.

My husband served in the Korean War. He was in the Air Force when he got there and was immediately along with countless others changed to Army. When he left the service he was back in the Air Force. He will be 87 in October.

This page is excellent! I love the graphic that shows the progression of the war! This page is clear and well organized plus it is engaging. It is an excellent resource for our project!!
