The Korean War, 25 June 1950 – 27 July 1953 was a war between North and South Korea. The United Nations force was led by the United States of America, fought for South Korea. China fought for North Korea assisted by the Soviet Union. The causes of the Korean war was the division of Korea at the end of World War II and the global tensions of the Cold War.
